I was asked to lead and create user flows for a new feature addition to CX Cloud concerning API Key creation, deletion, and disabling. My team and I were able to leverage designs made within the PX Cloud environment. This was beneficial not only for workloads as a team but also in keeping user experiences consistent across the platform environments.
I was first approached for this project by product and project managers to see what timelines would look like to gain an understanding of projected completion. Once I was able to review the current flows that existed in the PX Cloud platform I was able to gain valuable insight and understanding as to how long an ask like this might take.
From here I started looking at user flows and created wireframes within Figma to help chart out what our expectations were for this effort and foresee pain points and issues not initially mentioned when I was first brought on board the project.
Once I completed the wireframes and user flows. I then onboarded our content and visual designer into the project space and explained what the needs were. After initial onboarding with these team members, I kept up constant communication with my team members and made significant efforts towards collaboration between everyone. The content designer and visual designer brought forth great insight into various aspects of the user flows which I was able to enact. So we were able to further improve the user flows we took from the PX Cloud platform.
As initial wireframes, user flows, visual design, and content design were completed I presented them to involved stakeholders to gain feedback and understanding of what was working and what might need more thought applied to it. Through all these feedback loops we were able to improve the user experience of previously established designs as a team and enter into the development and QA phase of the project space.
