Cisco: Intersight EU
Brought on to work on a new feature where users would be able to add Intersight accounts from EU regions. We had to ensure we were compliant with GDPR standards while also completing this feature request in a tight timeline.

Product and project managers requested a new feature for linking EU-based Intersight accounts to CX Cloud.

Product and project managers approached my manager and me about working on a new feature for connecting Intersight accounts to CX Cloud. We held multiple call sessions to understand the asks and I was given a link to a Jira ticket to parse through. From there I broke out questions I had about the feature. I had these questions prepared for a follow-up call I had with team members.
After having these calls with my team members, I had a better understanding of the restrictions I needed to keep in mind and what needed to be included. I started to create wireframes and map out user flows to get a better sense of interactions I needed to keep in mind throughout the new feature build.
I held review call sessions of the wireframes I had built, so they could be looked over and I could explain my decision-making. I noted feedback I received during these sessions and answered any questions that came up. If I couldn’t answer those questions on that particular call then I would seek out the answers to those questions for my team.
As the team started to settle I brought in my team members from content design and visual design to help look over what we had built in wireframing. Open to feedback, we continued to iterate the flows and wireframes in collaboration with my visual and content designers. Once we had completed visual and content design work on these flows I shared them with the larger team and remained present as our development team started to build out this new feature.
